A Campaign for the Future of Animal Care Society

For forty years, Animal Care Society has been a compassionate respite for unhoused dogs and cats in Metro Louisville. From our humble beginning as a volunteer-led organization operating out of a garage to our professionally staffed campus of nearly five acres today, we’ve seen our footprint grow to meet the needs of the community.

Long known as Louisville’s first no-kill animal shelter, today it’s widely understood we were the first no-kill shelter in the entire Commonwealth. Four decades since our founding, we’re responsible for serving over 200,000 cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies.

With your help, we’ll be able to continue and expand upon our lifesaving work by securing the legacy of ACS for generations to come.

We cannot do it without you. Join us as we move forward!

Fur the Future,
Jason Wetherington
Executive Director
